Training With Eric DiLauro

Q. What is Eric DiLauro like as a trainer? I’ve seen him with Jay Cutler and even yourself on YouTube videos and such, but is he really as good as they say he is?

A. Eric is an outstanding and sought-after trainer. He is dedicated to his clients, providing them with support and knowledge. And with his diverse clientele, he has experience working with not just bodybuilders but also figure and bikini girls, tailoring his programs to those he trains with, whether it’s to build muscle on a bodybuilder or to tone and lean up for a bikini competitor. Beyond knowing how to build your standard nutrition and weight-training program, Eric is sought after by top pros because he’s a superior motivator!

When asked about his clients, Eric will tell you, “I only work with athletes that have the desire to win and are ready for the challenge to work with me. If I feel their heart isn't in it, I will not work with them because it’s wasting my time also.”

In recent months, Eric has worked with many top competitors, including IFBB pro Hidetada Yamagishi, who has qualified for the 2011 Olympia with a second-place placement at the Tampa Pro Show, as well as some top amateur competitors too, including National level bodybuilder Tristan Joseph and National figure competitor Carla Maria Cadotte, who won her division at the NPC show in New Orleans. And of course, Eric is also sought out by the king of bodybuilding—Mr Olympia, Jay Cutler.
